Artists for Suicide Prevention

Creating Hope
through Music

“If this project helps even one person feel seen.
If one person chooses to stay.
If one life finds hope again.
Then we’ve done what we set out to do”

Ron Hood - Creative Producer

Join Us for the Premiere

The South-West community is coming together for a special premiere of “Shannon” — a locally produced mental health music video project.

Around 100 local community members contributed their skills and talents as part of the Artists for Suicide Prevention collective, led by Busselton pharmacist and musician Ron Hood. Filmed across the region, from the shores of Yallingup Beach to the iconic Busselton Jetty, the project shares a powerful message of hope and connection — helping people feel seen, supported, and reminded that help is always available.

This community event aims to:

  • Raise awareness for mental health

  • Start important conversations

  • Bring people together through music and storytelling
